Met Plus

Met Plus is seeking a certified Medical Biller with Experience to Act as liaison between vendors and payroll processing personnel to assure that organization goals and procedures are being met. Processing and posting, accounts receivable, payroll and related taxes, and how these processes interface with the general ledger. Experience in related areas such as; double entry process, contract compliance, medication verification and billing requirements.

  • Review, code and process patient medical documentation for payment of insurance claims in accordance with pre- authorized levels of service within company policy.

  • Ensure that all services documented in the patient’s records are coded with appropriate ICD-9/ICD 10 and CPT codes
  • Maintain a working knowledge of ICD-9/ICD-10 and CPT coding principles, coding guidelines, and third party requirements regarding documentation and billing.
  • Maintains confidentiality of all patient information.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of ICD-9/ICD-10 and CPT coding principles, coding guidelines, and third party requirements regarding documentation and billing.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance

  • Excellent customer service skills via Phone, Email and In-Person
  • Knowledge of ICD-9/ICD-10 and CPT coding principles, coding
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • claim processing: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Medical Billing: 1 year (Preferred)

While in the process of contributing to Michigan’s economy we will also provide focus to areas such as the rebuilding, improving and maintaining neglected and or damaged communities through various projects.
