Mission Statement

Michigan Employment & Training Plus (MET|PLUS) mission is to partner with communities, employers, employees and job seekers to educate, employ, train and help build a solid Michigan working economy through workforce vocational and skill training. This will help eliminate employer vulnerability by hiring skillful employees that has increased their knowledge and skill by accessing free employment training opportunities. Also MET PLUS will provide hands on training through direction of certified results driven instructors that will contribute to the rebuilding, improving and maintaining neglected and or damaged communities through various projects.

Description

Michigan Employment & Training Plus (MET|PLUS) is a nonprofit civic and social vocational training organization based out of Detroit MI. The organization was founded by Chet M. Pitts in 2014 as a path to train and develop skills to help job seekers find employment, maintain and retain as well as help employers fill their open positions with quality employees. Also the hands on training will be able to benefit the community through free student training provided rehab services such as home repair, auto, dental, construction etc.
