Elara Caring Hospice is actively looking for a caring individual in Port Clinton, OH who has an interest in visiting with a Hospice patient in the area. The ideal candidate will be willing to travel to the patient's private home to provide respite care. What is respite care? Respite care provides a much needed break for a caregiver. The volunteer will come in and visit with the patient while the caregiver runs errands or takes a break for taking care of the patient. These visits can last from 1-2 hours. This opportunity will provide you with a unique way to get involved with hospice care while helping someone in need.
