As an RLC Rescuer, YOU will bridge the gap between excess food and those who need it. We are offering local students the opportunity to be paid for "Lead Rescuing" with RLCMA:
- Each Lead Rescuer will be responsible for a minimum of 5 rescues per week, for a minimum of 8 weeks.
- As a Lead Rescuer, we will reimburse you with $8 per each rescue.
- We will coordinate with you to create a plan that is as efficient for you as possible based on your location and schedule.
- Choose between rescues in Boston, Somerville and Cambridge.
Note: Please be sure to use your current Boston Area zip code (not your home zip if you're a student). COMPLETE your Volunteer Account by updating your Profile and including your PHONE NUMBER, the REGION and LOCATION you are able to volunteer in. This is very important so that we may categorize your account in the proper State. 2. We need your help! Please consider dedicating yourself to recovering food on a weekly basis, from the same food donor and going to the same recipient each time! To learn more, please visit: www.tinyurl.com/RLCMA- ACTION3. Can't volunteer weekly but can do sporadically? Please visit our Event Calendar at www.rescuingleftovercuisine.org/calendar to sign up for any Open Rescue (those which say "WE NEED A RESCUER!") that can be worked into your schedule.
