ORGANIZATION: World Medical Relief

The mission of World Medical Relief is to relieve human suffering, demonstrate respect for all customers, clients and patients, collaborate with community organizations to provide services for those in need, and maintain a proactive approach in improving the services that are provided. More specifically, we are a charitable organization whose mission is to impact positively on the well-being of the medically under-served locally, nationally and internationally, by collecting and distributing medicines, medical and dental equipment and supplies, and related items. Goods are distributed in a non-discriminatory manner without regard to race, color, gender, religion, nationality or political beliefs.

World Medical Relief is seeking to expand its biomedical technician volunteer corps with one or more biomedical technicians who are experienced with radiology equipment. The agency receives donations of x-ray machines but will not send the equipment out unless it is found to be in excellent working condition. The tube should also be tested for longevity to determine whether it is worthwhile to send it to one of the partner hospitals overseas. The technician would use own tools to do basic testing of the equipment. Please join the team. Your work will save many lives!
