The medical supply volunteer helps to sort donated medical supplies into various categories like surgery, basic patient care, urology, etc. No medical background necessary. Team leaders will teach you the sorting process. There is not a lot of lifting involved and most work is done standing. The hours are flexible and many volunteers are needed. This opportunity is great for individuals (or groups!) who want experience in the medical field. Your efforts will help people in need all over the world. The hours available are Monday through Friday from 9am-3pm and Saturday 9am-12 pm. If you are interested in volunteering Saturday afternoon from 1pm-3:30 pm, let us know. We need at least fifteen people to offer time in the afternoon on Saturdays. Individuals are welcome to volunteer at their convenience. The Data Entry Associate helps to enter the contents of packing lists into a word document. You must be very detail oriented, have robust computer skills, and be proficient in Microsoft Office. Each year, World Medical Relief sends thousands of medical equipment & medical supply items to ill equipped hospitals all over the world. Everything being sent has to be recorded in a document for customs & legal regulations. The Data Entry Associate is an important member of the team. This opportunity is great for individuals who want experience in the medical field. Your efforts will help people in need all over the world. The hours available are Monday through Friday from 8:00am-4:00pm. There are two shifts available each day: 8:00am-12:00pm and 12:00pm-4:00pm. We need a commitment of at least two shifts per week.

World Medical Relief is hiring Marketing Interns. Duties include social media management, event planning, and donor outreach. The Marketing Intern reports to the Marketing Manager. Duties and Responsibilities Create, edit, and publish social media content Collecting and analyzing data to identify consumer trends Researching consumer opinions and designing event marketing strategies Managing CRM database with donors Skills and Qualifications Knowledge of marketing strategies, including continuing education of new marketing tactics and tools Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to translate complex research into common language Proficiency with word processing, spreadsheet and presentation software Aptitude with various social media sites (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram) as well as the data tracking tools associated with them Familiarity with consumer psychology and buying habits Ability to quickly learn and process information Organization and time management skills The Marketing Internship is a 3 month program. It is not a salary internship. You will be compensated based on commission from the donations you are able to receive.
