Come join our fun activities team from 10:00- 3:00 Monday, Friday, Saturday or Sunday here at Pines of Sarasota. We are looking for energetic, caring and compassionate volunteers who love to work with seniors. The volunteer assists activity staff members in scheduled activities and or outings listed on monthly calendar. The duties are to encourage residents to attend activities, escort residents from their rooms to and from the activity location, and assist residents in participating as fully as possible in the activity. The volunteer must have the ability to work and communicate well with people who may have functional limitations as well as being able to work independently after training and instructions.
