Did you know transportation is the top request for help from those over the age of 65? Just think, 2 to 4 hours a month of your time can ease the burden for a senior for rides to an important medical appointment or grocery shopping for food they might otherwise not get. If you have a valid driver’s license and good driving record, we’ll find somebody in your neighborhood that needs what you can provide. In addition to your heart being full of joy for helping, we’ll provide reimbursement for mileage!
Volunteer drivers must be 21 years of age or older.
Volunteer Services, a program of Catholic Community Services, assists low-income elders and persons living with disabilities. Volunteers can provide assistance with light housecleaning, transportation, grocery shopping, home repair and yard care. With a little help from volunteers, clients can continue to live independently in their homes.

Description
Volunteer Services is a program of Catholic Community Services. We are a Washington state-wide program, started as a safety net for older adults and adults with disabilities who do not qualify for state-paid chore assistance and cannot afford to hire assistance.
