MSS is seeking volunteers to assist program staff in bringing a group of individuals with disabilities out into the community. Volunteers will serve as companions to adults with disabilities, offer explanations of events and help make the experience enjoyable. Volunteers may be asked to push wheelchairs or walk arm-in-arm to offer physical support. Any admission costs will be covered by MSS. Outings may occur any day of the week between 9:30am-1:00pm. Volunteers may experience outings such as museums, galleries, movies, picnics and more! Must be comfortable engaging adults with disabilities. Must be able to pass a background check. Opportunities available at any of our 6 locations: Apple Valley, Eagan, St Paul Shoreview, Oakdale, or Brooklyn Park

MSS is a Day and Employment Services provider for people with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (I/DD). Each year, MSS empowers nearly 500 individuals to live the life they choose by providing opportunities and developing partnerships built on collaboration and community engagement. MSS has six locations throughout the Twin Cities and has grown deep roots in our local business and creative arts communities.
