Are you organized? Do you enjoy note-taking? Wakefield Senior Center needs a Volunteer Secretary to take notes at 11:45 a.m. on the last Wednesday of every month, and then disseminate them to council members. Volunteer will also have "a voice" and be encouraged to give feedback on center operations once she/he is comfortable in their role.
For this and other meaningful volunteer opportunities contact Volunteer Solutions at 703-324-5406, TTY 711, VolunteerSolutions@fairfaxcounty.gov, or visit:

The Fairfax Area Agency on Aging (AAA) serves older adults and adults with disabilities in Fairfax County and the cities of Fairfax and Falls Church. The goal of the AAA is to improve quality of life and promote independent living for older adults. We are a partnership of Department of Family Services, Neighborhood and Community Services and the Health Department.
Our mission is to support older adults and adults with disabilities in a variety of ways. We provide volunteer services to help people to remain in their own homes/communities and improve their quality of life.
We'll work with your schedule.
