Exciting volunteer opportunity for the stunning Aurora 84 South Health Center located on 84th and Layton in Greenfield, WI. The Health Center will open August 5, 2019 and we are urgently seeking volunteers now so you may assist in the grand opening and provide that extra special attention to those who need it most.
We are currently seeking:
Ambassadors to provide friendly, warm, proactive individuals to assist patients and visitors in wayfinding throughout the clinic. For those 15 years of age or older, you can volunteer any shift Monday - Friday between 8am -4:30pm. As a volunteer you will greet all patients, their families and friends to help the feel welcome, ease their anxiety, provide wheelchair assistance, and assist with finding their destination in the building.
-For those who have certified Pet Therapy Dogs through TDI, Pets Helping People, or Pet Partners, your furry friends are urgently need to help ease patients and their loved ones.
-Cookie Bakers-Brighten someone’s day by delivering freshly baked cookies to patients, family members, visitors and caregivers. Bake cookies in a portable oven on designated patient floors (frozen cookie dough provided) and visit with patients, family members, etc. while distributing the cookies.
-Pediatric patient entertainment
