The Retired and Senior Volunteer Program is seeking a qualified volunteer to develop and staff a new monthly grief support group for individuals who have lost loved ones.

Tasks: Creating the framework for a grief support group with staff asssistance. Facilitating the group during scheduled meeting times. This could include presenting on a bereavement-related educational topics and/or leading a support-focused group discussion.

Qualifications: Volunteer must have previous grief counseling experience and/or a degree in social work or psychology. Volunteer must be reliable (groups only run when facilitator is present), a good listener, able to efficiently guide a group, comfortable answering questions and sharing information. No training provided.

Time: Meeting days and times are not yet set and are flexible to the volunteer's schedule since this is a new group. One session per month.

Location of work: Saline near the corner of North Maple Rd and East Woodland Dr
