This position will help with site visits to our Kids Café sites and it’s from end of May to August. The visits conducted will be to insure that sites are compliant with all USDA/CDE policies. The time periods would be 2 days a week between Monday-Friday, 11AM-3PM. This role would require driving throughout Orange County, so reliable transportation is a must.
Kids Café summer meals is a USDA funded program that provides children 18 years old and younger with a 5 component lunch and an option for AM/PM snack. This program partners with Boys and Girls Clubs, YMCA’s and other non-profits.

Description
Second Harvest Food Bank of Orange County is providing food assistance and helping our community weather the COVID-19 variants. While the economy improves for many, there are nearly 350,000 individuals each month who continue to rely on Second Harvest for food. We must keep the momentum going to ensure all are well fed in Orange County. Above all, we are committed to nourishing everyone in our community who needs help.
Second Harvest distributes donated and purchased foods through a network of over 250 partner agencies throughout the county and every dollar donated to provides food for at least three meals.
