Leisure Seekers is a group that provides recreational opportunities, teaches leisure skills, and increases socialization and self-esteem for individuals recovering from behavioral health disorders. Individuals 18 and over, day treatment programs, board and care facilities, and drop-in centers are welcome to attend.
Join us for our annual Luau. Dress up in Hawaiian attire, and get ready for some fun in the sun and a grand feast.
Volunteers will help set up, and help with the different stations that will provide arts and food for all participants and general socialization and support for all participants and staff.

Description
San Diego's Park and Recreation Department is responsible for overseeing nearly 40,000 acres of developed and undeveloped open space, more than 340 parks including Balboa Park, Mission Trails Regional Park, and Mission Bay Park; 25 miles of shoreline from Sunset Cliffs to La Jolla; 13 pools; 3 public golf complexes; 56 recreation centers and more. Park and recreation professionals and volunteers host hundreds of community events each year and provide safe places for thousands of children to go after school. City employees and volunteers take great pride to enrich the lives of others through quality parks and programs, designed and developed so that people of all ages, abilities and income levels have the chance to participate in excellent recreational opportunities.
