The Asian Pacific Development Center's Victim Assistance Department is seeking compassionate, hard working bilingual volunteers who are fluent in Spanish and English, and are looking to give back to their community.
Here at APDC we strive to provide whole health services for the immigrant and refugee populations in Colorado. To be able to provide meaningful access to healing for our community members we must provide a space for clients to speak and be understood in the language they feel most comfortable.
As a bilingual Spanish speaking volunteer you will have the unique opportunity to provide a major pillar of support to our clients who prefer to converse in their native language.
Volunteers will be an integral member of the Victim Assistance team who will provide interpretation, a supportive presence, and/or administrative assistance to the client.
Volunteers will be provided interpretation training, as well as ongoing support and education opportunities to be sure you feel ready and equipped to help our clients. Please be in touch for more information!
