Lantern Community Services is a homeless services non-profit that helps people who are formerly homeless or have recently aged out of foster care rebuild their lives. We do this through our supportive housing program, which is based on the latest evidence of what provides the most benefit to our clients. Our programs deal with health, employment, education, and life skills and are delivered inside our residences. We have locations in the Bronx, Brooklyn, and Upper Manhattan.
We are currently looking for volunteers who can give a few hours a week to help us here at the Main Office out with a variety of administrative tasks. This is a great opportunity to learn about the inner workings of non profit organizations and get real substantive experience working at one. Our office is also very conveniently located in midtown right next to Penn Station. Please get in touch if you're interested!
