AHC is looking for volunteers to engage with a young hearing impaired student attending AHC's after school program on weekday afternoons, 3:30-6pm, during the school year. Volunteers will help this shy student participate in planned activities with other children. We'd like volunteers able to commit to helping once a week for an hour or more. Experience with hearing impaired students is appreciated but not required.

AHC's Arlington Resident Services program began more than 20 years ago and focuses primarily on comprehensive education programs; after school, teen, college & career, and summer camp programs for elementary through high school students. The program also provides community connections and onsite programs to help adults strengthen their economic stability and build stronger futures for themselves and their families.
