One of the gifts we can provide to hospice families is a video of their loved one telling their stories, their life history, and leaving words of wisdom to those they leave behind!
Compassus Hospice is looking for a videographer -- someone who can record and then edit our patient's life stories. Working side by side with the Volunteer Coordinator and/or other patient volunteers, you would be an important and valued part of the hospice team by providing this lasting gift.
This volunteer role is perfect for someone who wants to volunteer but not regularly and consistently. . .on a project basis, when we have patients requesting life review videos.
A thorough training is provided free of charge. Background check and TB testing required, and are also no cost to the volunteer.

- Video interviews are usually 1-2 hours, 1 or 2 visits. The rest of the time is editing and producing the DVD, so that would vary depending on your process, but probably an additional 4-8 hours. These video visits are very intermittent, however.
