Help your seniors in NW Seattle their yardwork during the PNA Fall Gardening Party.
Join us on Saturday, September 30 from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm. All ages are welcome to join us as we weed, trim, prune and otherwise get gardens and yards in NW Seattle cleaned up for winter. Volunteers will be assigned to teams of 5 people, and each team will work at 2 homes in NW Seattle with a lead volunteer, including one team at the Greenwood Senior Center (we'll meet at the Greenwood Senior Center for orientation & assignment). Best of all, you'll be done in time to head home for lunch!
This is a great opportunity to meet your neighbors, hang out with your friends and family, and participate in the PNA's mission to build community, in this case around our elders. No gardening experience is necessary, though we encourage you to bring gardening gloves and small tools, if you have them.
Learn more or sign up now: https://www.phinneycenter.org/volunteer/volunteer-gardening/#yard, no later than September 27, to sign up.
