As a volunteer-powered non-profit organization, Yappy Tails Animal Rescue would not exist without the hard work and dedication of our volunteers. The number of dogs and cats we can save depends on the number of people we have helping us. There are many ways you can volunteer with Yappy Tails.

Adoption & Foster Screener: Assist in pre-approving adopters and fosters by reviewing applications, contacting landlord/vet offices, conducting phone screens and setting up home visits. Not required to attend adoption event. Must love talking on the phone.

Mission Statement

Approximately 1.2 million dogs & 1.5 million cats are euthanized each year. Our goal is to create a world where all companion animals have loving and permanent homes and where no loving animals, no matter what their age, are killed in shelters because they are considered a surplus or unadoptable. We anticipate rescuing and rehoming over 200 dogs and cats in our first year.

Description

Yappy Tails Animal Rescue, Inc., is a 501(c) (3) non-profit animal rescue.

We are an all-volunteer, foster-based rescue. Working with our southern rescue partners, we place our animals into temporary foster homes where they are socialized, spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and treated for any medical or behavioral conditions limiting their adoptability.
