MeoowzResQ NEEDS MORE CAT LOVERS! Kittens are being dumped in such high numbers!
We continue to rescue kittens...but need more fosters. YOU CAN HELP SAVE THE LIFE OF A KITTEN!
We need new foster that are willing to keep a few kittens until they are adopted. It could take anywhere from 2 weeks to 10 weeks, depending on the age of the kitten.
You must be able to transport the kitten(s) to and from one of our Adoption Events (whichever is closest to you). If the kitten(s) doesn't get adopted, you must pick up from the Adoption Event.
The kittens we rescue are SO SWEET and just need a chance!!
Can you foster a few kittens until they are ready for a home and adopted? If so, please call us.
How do we get these cats? Kitten season is upon us once again, and the shelters are maxed out! The shelters are only able to keep the mama cats and kittens for a few days. If they are not rescued, the shelter has no option but to euthanize them to make room for the next ones coming in. By law, the shelters cannot release these animals to the general public, and may only release them to animal rescue organizations. This is where we come in. MeoowzResQ is working with local area shelters to try to save as many lives as possible.
But we can't do it alone! We rely on fosters that volunteer to care for and house these companion animals until they are ready for adoption. All of our foster homes are full. We need new fosters.
All supplies will be provided. All cats and kittens will be spayed or neutered, given their initial FVRCP vaccine(s), treated for fleas and treated for worms prior to being adopted. MeoowzResQ covers the costs for medical treatments of our kittens.

This request is URGENT and we appreciate the help.
Saving one cat may not change the world, But it will surely change the world of one cat.
We are an all-volunteer, not for profit organization rescuing cats and kittens in the Southern California area.
Our kittens are hand raised in private homes and many are bottle fed babies. They are sweet and people oriented because they are cared for by foster mom's who are dedicated to raising and finding good homes for these abused, injured, or abandoned cats.
Our kitties come from folks who have rescued them from the fires, found them on airplanes, in big trucks delivering to warehouses and many that can't be cared for by the local animal control.
We'll work with your schedule.
