If you're usually the type that's all riled up & never really on the laid back side, this would be a great choice to volunteer your time at! Mostly because it was peaceful and quiet volunteer work, I mean you have to clean up after the kitties of course but then you get to just sit with them or play & socialize. In some ways for me, I felt like I was in kitty heaven! Surrounded by multiple meows, love & affection and just talking to them as if I was having a conversation with an actually human, would mellow me out quite a bit. Although sometimes I would get a bit emotionally worked up after cleaning their litter boxes, cages & social time when it came time to leave. because I know realistically there's just not enough people willing or able to give those furry guys a good home.. So that was the most difficult part for me & I still emotionally struggle with that fact. :( Overall, it was definitely worth putting my heart & time into though. <3

MeoowzResQ is a great rescue group, with a wonderful group of volunteers! We adopted two cats from them, and were so impressed with the group, we decided to volunteer. We have fostered cats that they have rescued until they are adopted, and they have given us all the food, toys, and everything else we have needed to care for the cats. The cats have been so sweet and grateful to have been rescued, they have filled our home with love. Volunteering with MeoowzResQ has been a very happy, joyful experience for us. We highly recommend this group.

WHAT A WONDERFUL ORGANIZATION. I HAVE BEEN VOLUNTEERING FOR THEM FOR ABOUT 1 1/2 YEARS AND LOVE IT. I WOULD NEVER LOOK ANYWHERE ELSE FOR A KITTEN OR CAT. MEOOWZRESQ IS SUCH A LOVING, RESPECTED AND CARING GROUP OF MEN & WOMEN AND I AM SO THANKFUL TO BE PART OF SUCH A GREAT GROUP.

This is a group of Orange County residents who come together with a common similarity: compassion. I have never met such dedicated people. Not only is MeoowzResQ highly recommended, they are inspiring. Groups like them remind me that there is a lot of love in this world.

WONDERFUL organization! The people care about each other and the cats/kittens more then anyone else I have ever met! I have LOVED volunteering with them.

everyone is commited & dedicated to the well being of the animals. with so many working together much is accomplished & so many precious lives are saved!! no matter how much you give, be it time , monitery or a good word - ALL is greatly appreicated. And the same goes to those who come to us for help with thier kittens!!!

This is a great team of volunteers! Everyone is warm, and always willing to go the distance to make it work! Very Caring!!
