Food Delivery Driver/Assistants (Los Angeles)

Food Delivery volunteers are needed to deliver food to families in Jamboree Housing's affordable living properties. We need help getting food to our low-income residents at various properties in the area. If not able to be a driver, volunteers are still needed in assisting with packing the food at the distribution center. Having a food delivery makes it possible for us to give our families food and uphold to Jamboree's mission.

Volunteers will deliver to Jamboree's site, The Exchange, an approximate 20 minute drive from the distribution center. The total volunteer time will take no more than 2-3 hours. Volunteers are asked to deliver every other Wednesday. If not able to make the full commitment, volunteers can assist with packing the vehicle at the distribution center or unpacking at the site. If driving, volunteers need to use their own vehicles and we cannot reimburse for gas. Volunteers must give a copy of their current license & proof of Insurance before making their first delivery. Further documents will need to be signed to address liabilities and safety.

What your days will look like (starting between 10:00am and 11:00am):

Starting Location: Fremont Wellness Center (Farmer's Market) (7821 Avalon Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90003)
- Pack vehicle with food
- Drive to site

Jamboree Site: The Exchange (10562 Santa Fe Drive El Monte, CA 91731)
- Unpack food at site
- Drive back to distribution center

Ending Location: Fremont Wellness Center (Farmer's Market) (7821 Avalon Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90003)
