Miracle Terrace is an affordable housing community for seniors. The property hosts an on site food bank to serve hundreds of our residents. We are looking for volunteers to help organize and distribute food items to the residents during this event. This opportunity may involve heavy lifting of food items. Jamboree Housing is a non-profit housing developer delivering high quality affordable housing and services. Our properties offer various services to our residents including after school, adult and senior programs. Make a difference in someone's life today! Volunteering is a great way to help Jamboree help others. Time donated by Jamboree volunteers furthers our mission to strengthen communities and transform lives. COVID-19 Guidelines: Jamboree's top priority is to keep residents, volunteers, employees, and their families safe and healthy. Please be sure to bring and wear a face mask to your shift since supplies are limited. Make sure to take your temperature prior to coming to your shift. A fever is considered 100.4F/38C or higher. If you have a fever, are sick, or show signs of COVID-19, stay home and do not volunteer. Volunteers who are well but have been in the proximity of someone with COVID-19, or who is awaiting diagnosis may not volunteer. Volunteers must be at least 16 years old and must be fully vaccinated.

The Meadows is a mobile home community for seniors that hosts a food distribution supported by Second Harvest twice a month. We are in need of two volunteers to help set up tables, organize donated food by moving boxes from pallets to tables, and helping seniors that are homebound at the mobile home community by bringing them their groceries. This opportunity involves heavy lifting. Volunteers must be at least 16 years of age. If you are feeling ill, have a fever, or show any signs of COVID, please stay home. The safety of our residents, volunteers, and staff is important to us.

The Arbor is a housing complex for low income families in Irvine. Every Thursday, Second Harvest brings their Park-It-Market vehicle to the property so families can pick out food for the week. Volunteers are needed to help sign in residents, and direct the line of residents. Volunteers must be fully vaccinated, be at least 16 years old, and wear close toed shoes. Volunteers must register below and complete the waiver in the link below before arriving to the event. Volunteer start time: 10 AM Volunteer end time: 12 PM Parking instructions for volunteers: When you enter the property please park in the guest or visitor parking, not on the numbered spaces. Please meet me in front of the leasing office. Since property management has the door locked please give a call or text when you arrive, number will be emailed separately.

Volunteers help sort and deliver the food to the seniors doors at the property. This position may require heavy lifting.
