ORGANIZATION: The Salvation Army - San Jose, CA

Bag fresh produce into smaller distribution units that will be given to individuals and disadvantaged families. Every Monday 9am-12 and/or 1pm-4pm continues Tuesday, 9am-12noon until finished. This event is outside in front of the Food Pantry area, please wear closed toe shoes, and dress in clothing appropriate for working outdoors. Earlier start times are: 8:00am & 8:30am.

Volunteers Age 13 years old must be accompanied by a volunteer parent/guardian. Ages 14 (in High School) or older can volunteer without parent/guardian.

Must complete a volunteer waiver.

Volunteer Coordinator must confirm participation, no walk-ins.

2 Shifts

  • 09:00 AM to 12:00 PM
    Can start at 8:30am instead of 9am
  • afternoon / 01:00 PM to 04:00 PM
    Can stop at 3pm instead of 4pm
