Lantern Community Services is a non profit homeless services organization that champions the independence and well-being of New Yorkers who are formerly homeless or have recently aged out of foster care through supportive housing. Our programs - which have proven results in health, employment, education and life skills - are delivered inside our residences and tailored to each person’s needs.
Lantern is currently looking for tutors who speak English and Spanish to help some of our clients with literacy and English language skills. Language barriers can be a big impediment to getting work and building connections, so this is a very important way you can help folks improve their lives.
