The Loveland Housing Authority Needs Your Help!

The Loveland Housing Authority (LHA) runs several programs throughout Loveland and volunteers are needed to spend time with kids, help as an administrative assistant, or as a librarian.

Reading Buddies is a volunteer program through LHA focused on increasing the reading ability of children. Volunteers can be impactful in several ways including spending time with children to encourage reading but also building meaningful relationships that support children’s growth and development. Volunteers can sign up for one or two 45 minutes shifts that occur during the day or the evening.

LHA is also seeking an administrative assistant to assist the Admin Team in providing high quality, customer services to residents and applicants. Housing is a significant challenge in our community and helping people understand what affordable housing communities are available in our community is an important role. Volunteers can serve one day a week for 2-4 hours as needed and a minimum of a 6 month commitment is desired.

LHA is also seeking a librarian to organize books for one - three hours a week. This is great opportunity for book lovers!
