High School Volunteer Leadership Program-Greenville: Summer Session

Save to Favorites

ORGANIZATION: The Children's Museum of the Upstate

A volunteer program for high school students, the Leadership Program allows teens to build critical thinking and leadership skills while working closely with museum staff. Beyond gaining critical knowledge about informal education for children ages 2-10, volunteers will learn about specific program content, from science to art!

The application period for the summer session is open, and camps are the focus! Students assist camp educators, with exciting themes like "Playful Potters & Painters", "Moonwalkers", and "Pirates & Princesses."

The volunteer commitment consists of a monthly training, camps (specifically 3 weeks of half days, emphasis on the AM) plus some weekend volunteer shifts, which equals a 70-hour commitment.
