Seeking Volunteers To Help Out At This Year's Earth Day EcoFest

ORGANIZATION: Pacific Beach Coalition

Do you have a couple of hours to spare? We need your help at our annual Earth Day EcoFest to make this year's event run smoothly to ensure that festival attendees have a safe and fun time.

We have lots of easy ways you can help out between the hours of 8am and 3pm. These range from helping set up the booths and stage, waving parking signs, helping manage recycle station, staffing photo booth, assisting with bean toss, helping out with petting zoo, and tearing down at the end. Jobs for all ages and hours can be used for volunteer service credits.

The EcoFest is a free event, fun and highly educational for families and individual of all ages organized by the Pacific Beach Coalition on Saturday April 27th.

When: Saturday, April 27th from 8am - 3pm; Hourly shifts start as early as 8:00am and end at 3:00pm.

Primary programs include:

  • Weekly cleanups, rotating through the beautiful beaches in Pacifica, Montara and Half Moon Bay on San Mateo County's coast.
  • Monthly habitat restoration.
  • Earth Day Actions & Celebration.
  • Adopt-a-Beach Program coordination.
  • Education and outreach regarding the watershed, beaches and ocean.

Something for everyone to participate in. All ages and interests.
