ORGANIZATION: San Diego Model Railroad Museum

Assist with on and off site events promoting the museum.

  • Saturday, April 13, 2019; 10 am to 5 pm (set-up time included)
    • Tutus & Choo Choos
      • 2-3 volunteers
      • Help with activity areas
        • Kids will make pop-up paper layouts
        • Attendant for interpretive dance area
      • Perhaps additional person to help with directing crowd
      • * I don’t know how busy it will be since this will be the first time that we conduct this event.
  • Friday, April 19, 2019; 11:30 am to 6:30 pm (set-up time and clean-up time included)
    • Spring Fling Food Truck Festival
      • 1-2 volunteers
      • Help with activity booth in the Prado
        • Hands-on demonstration of why arches are so strong
  • Saturday, May 4, 2019; 10:30 am to 6:30 pm (set-up time and clean-up time included)
    • Cinco de Mayo Festival
      • 3-4 volunteers
        • Over 70,000 people attended last year
