Norfolk County RSVP is seeking volunteers age 55 and older for the following position:
Ambassadors
Help at Information desk with other volunteers or wheel a veteran to an appointment.
Training will be provided. Many four-hour shifts are available Mondays - Fridays.
11 AM - 3 PM shifts are available now.
Small Library Volunteer
Do you like books and reading? If so, we need you to organize books and unpack new book donations in our small library area; assist veterans who are looking for a new read... at times you assist as an ambassador.
3-4 hour shifts morning or afternoon.
Easy parking is available at the West Roxbury VA Hospital.
Round trip mileage reimbursement is also available.

Norfolk County RSVP has volunteer opportunities for people aged 55 & over in 28 cities and towns at over 50 volunteer sites. Volunteer opportunities include mentoring pre-release inmates, tutoring elementary school children, drivers for Veterans, meals on wheels and food pantires, friendly visiting, non-profit support services and many more! N.C. RSVP will find the volunteer opportunity that best fits your interests & schedule and impacts the needs that are most critical to our county's communities. N.C. RSVP provides mileage reimbursement, accident & liability insurance, an invitation to our annual recognition event, monthly newsletters, orientation & training.
