Help a low-income senior in your community by 'adopting' a box! Many of our seniors live on very low incomes and struggle to provide for their basic needs. Our boxes would contain items like toiletries, cleaning supplies, pet food, stamps, hand lotion, toilet paper etc., items that most of us take for granted but can become luxuries for the low-income. You can adopt the box with a group and contribute together or fill it on your own. The boxes can be generic and contain items anyone would enjoy, or specific and based on a client's unique situation and preferences. If you would like to deliver the box in person we can arrange that as well. Experience the joy of treating a low-income senior to the gift of fun and useful items that show them that they are not forgotten and they are cared for.

Description
Volunteer Services, a program of CatholicCharities, provides basic in-home assistance to low-income elders and adults with disabilities to help them continue living independently, safely, and with dignity in the comfort of their own homes. The generosity of our volunteers brings opportunities and hope to individuals who are often isolated and in need of kindness and support. We offer both individual and group opportunities to provide transportation, light housekeeping, yard care and more. All volunteers receive training, optional mileage reimbursement, liability and ongoing support to make sure the volunteer experience is rewarding for all. Catholic Charities is a state contracted 501-C3 and provides services to all who qualify regardless of race, religion or creed.
