Join our Volunteer team to help Meals on Wheels in King County fight hunger! As a Meals on Wheels Volunteer, you will belong to a team committed to helping homebound seniors maintain their health and independence with nutritious food, personal contact, and caring service.
Help keep the meals rolling at the Seatac Community Center. A volunteer is needed to call Meals on Wheels participants for their weekly order on Mondays, 9 am - 11 am. This is an on-going volunteer commitment.
Qualifications: Good communication skills, reliable, flexibile, attention to detail, good cheer, and a commitment to the well-being of homebound elders.
Requirements: Complete an application, consent to a background check, be able to lift 15lbs, be at least 18 years of age, and have a Washington state driver’s license.

Our eleven programs operating throughout numerous community and senior center sites are constantly striving to expand the provision of food security, transportation, health & wellness, and assistance services to under served and marginalized populations. We are committed to helping all people, especially those in low-income communities and communities of color, obtain the services they need while feeling included and respected in a community that affirms aging.
