A Day of Family Fun and Duck Races at Mead Botanical Garden!

We need enthusiastic volunteers like you to help with....
- Duck wrangling/hauling
- Duckoration station
- Duck and T-shirt Sales
- Face Painting
- Bounce House
- Games & Crafts
- Event Set Up
- Event Break Down
- Parking
- Popcorn Machine
*IMPORTANT INFORMATION*
- DRESS CODE: You will be provided with a volunteer t-shirt to wear during the event at the volunteer check- in station.
- FOOD: You will receive a lunch voucher for a free lunch for volunteering as well as a snack and water upon arrival at the volnteer check-in staton.
- You may be reassigned or released early from your volunteer task based on event needs.
- If you cannot work the full shift, but would still like to volunteer please email emily@meadgarden.org to make arrangments. Alternate shift times must be pre-approved.

Our purpose is to restore, develop and sustain Mead Botanical Garden as an urban oasis; a refuge for wildlife, a garden emphasizing nature, sustainability and learning, and a place for contemplation, celebration, and recreation.
Description
The Friends of Mead Garden formed in 2003 to revitalize the more than 80 years old 47.5-acre biological asset known as Mead Bot anical Garden; to engage more people in the enjoyment of and education about nature. In 2011 we changed the corporate name to Mead Botanical Garden, Inc., (MBG) to define and establish the entity to go with this unique property.
In partnership with the City of Winter Park, the Mead Botanical Garden, Inc. assess the needs of the community, develop plans with community engagement, and raise funds to achieve the vision for Mead Botanical Garden.
