Volunteer Warehouse Helpers Needed:

The CareGivers offers food delivery to our clients; most living alone. These are the frail, elderly, and disabled members of our community; living at the poverty level.

The great thing about volunteering for The CareGivers is you can offer as little or as much time as you are able. We do not create schedules for our volunteers-we work around your busy life.

We are seeking individuals to come in during the week to help us with lightweight packing of our food delivery bags, stocking shelves, and other small tasks in order for us to supply our clients with their monthly food deliveries.

These tasks are generally done Monday through Friday, 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. If you have time to offer, please contact our office.

Description

The CareGivers, Inc. has a history of caring that has spanned 25 years. We are a small, private, grassroots non-profit organization.

We recruit, screen, train and coordinate volunteers to offer presence and assistance to those in need through transportation, companionship, community workshops, a mobile food pantry and service projects. Our programs and services, all free of charge, help vulnerable individuals remain independent in their homes and connected to their communities.
