ORGANIZATION: Volunteers of America Northern Colorado Services

Volunteers of America is seeking volunteers to help with the Grocery Shopping Program in Fort Collins or Loveland. Through the program, home-bound seniors and others with disabilities are provided access to weekly groceries. Current volunteer opportunities are available to call clients for their grocery orders, to shop for grocery orders, or to deliver grocery orders. These are weekday positions with the schedule listed below. Substitute positions are also available. Schedule:
Monday Mornings - callers call clients to see if they have a grocery list for the week 9:00 - 11:00
Tuesday Mornings - shoppers shop for orders in Loveland 8:00-10:00
Tuesday late Mornings - drivers deliver groceries to clients in Loveland - 10:30 - 12:30

Wednesday Mornings - callers call clients to see if they have a grocery list for the week 9:00-11:00
Thursday Mornings - shoppers shop for order in Fort Collins 7:30 - 10:00
Thursday late Morning/Early Afternoon - drivers deliver groceries to clients in Fort Collins - 11:00 - 1:00

Description

The Retired & Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) of Volunteers of America provides volunteer opportunities for individuals 55 years and older to use their skills, insight and lifetime experiences to assist residents and non-profit agencies in the county. RSVP also offers a variety of programs which provide services and enhance the quality of life for seniors.
