Big Apple Greeter seeks a part-time Volunteer Grant Researcher/Writer. Several years grant-writing experience preferred. Candidate must be able to prepare, submit and manage grant proposals; research and locate funding opportunities and potential donors; maintain records to track grant opportunities and reporting deadlines; handle special projects as assigned, such as assisting with fundraising events. 1 to 2 days per week. Preference given to candidates who can commit for 1 year. Computer skills required. Need candidate with excellent writing, analytical and research skills.

Description

Big Apple Greeter is a small non-profit organization that has been welcoming visitors to NYC since 1992 by offering them free 4 hour visits to a neighborhood of their choice with volunteers who know it well.
