The Dedham Meals on Wheels Program provides nutritious meals to local, homebound elders Monday-Friday. and has an immediate need for volunteers. Volunteers typically assist for about 2 hours once a week. Current volunteer opportunities include:

Meals on Wheels Drivers to help deliver meals to homebound elders are needed on Mondays or Thursdays from 10:30 - 12:30PM. Drivers are typically assigned a regular route of about 8-10 clientele Substitute drivers that are willing and able to fill in for other drivers on weekdays are also needed. Drivers must have a valid MA driver's license. Mileage reimbursement is available.

PLEASE NOTE: This volunteer opportunity is available only to adults 55 and older

Norfolk County RSVP has volunteer opportunities for people aged 55 & over in 28 cities and towns at over 50 volunteer sites. Volunteer opportunities include mentoring pre-release inmates, tutoring elementary school children, drivers for Veterans, meals on wheels and food pantires, friendly visiting, non-profit support services and many more! N.C. RSVP will find the volunteer opportunity that best fits your interests & schedule and impacts the needs that are most critical to our county's communities. N.C. RSVP provides mileage reimbursement, accident & liability insurance, an invitation to our annual recognition event, monthly newsletters, orientation & training.
