One representative will act as a chairperson for the Community Gardens committee. There will be four others chosen from members of the board and community representatives. The committee will be responsible for ensuring the gardens are kept in a good workable condition, scheduling education sessions, recruiting new gardeners, maintaining updated forms and policies and identifying new locations for successful garden placement. The chairperson will be responsible for collecting and maintaining data and statistics as it pertains to the garden programs. The chairperson is also responsible for attending the LACNIP Board meetings and giving a thorough report of all garden programs to the board.

Description

Lima-Allen County Neighborhoods in Partnership (LACNIP) was founded in 1994 by Shirley Daley and several other dedicated community leaders. 25 years later LACNIP continues to be an umbrella organization for the 8 city and 3 county neighborhood associations. LACNIP is ran soley by volunteers. As a volunteer for LACNIP you are encouraged to invest your time, skills, and talents to promote good agency-community relations that enhance our quality programs.
