This is a shared volunteer position. Duties are as follows: maintains the Meals on Wheels roster and route book for the Herndon/Reston route, works with new individuals to explain how the Meals on Wheels program works, keeps track of weekly meal count, and emails this information to the Nutrition unit supervisor by the 5 th day of the following month. This position requires a commitment of 20+ hours per month between two volunteers.

The Fairfax Area Agency on Aging (AAA) serves older adults, adults with disabilities, and family caregivers in Fairfax County and the cities of Fairfax and Falls Church. Our mission is to support older adults and adults with disabilities in a variety of ways. We provide volunteer services to help people to remain in their own homes/communities and improve their quality of life.
