**Please note all Kentucky Historical Society onsite volunteer work has been suspended until April 16th, 2020**

The Martin F. Schmidt Research Library has a few openings for volunteers! As home to the largest genealogy collection in Kentucky, we need help in the areas of reference services, cataloging, microfilm inventories, genealogy collection review, shelf reading, and research. Each volunteer brought on in this capacity could be assigned to various tasks, depending on their previous experience and fit for each type of task. The ideal library volunteer would have a background of library and/or genealogy/research/history experience, with a strong attention to detail and passion for great customer service. Volunteer hours would be available in flexible time increments, Wednesday through Saturday, 9-5.
