We are in search of volunteers to assist KHS staff and faculty during our Kentucky History Day event on Saturday, June 7th! Kentucky History Day is our annual celebration honoring the anniversary of our states ratification. On this 233 rd birthday, KHS, along with the Tourism, Arts and Heritage Cabinet agencies, are exhibiting an exciting day-long event showcasing the state’s unique culture, natural beauty, history, arts, and heritage. Immerse yourself in the rich history of Kentucky through captivating living history demonstrations, impressive performances, and intriguing exhibitions. We have several volunteer opportunities with various shifts: Saturday, June 7th: Kentucky History Day!! Roughly 30 Volunteers needed two volunteers will be asked to assist with trash collecting throughout the day Asking for 5 individuals willing to direct parking at multiple locations Wayfinding positions available Interactive Stations WILL BE ACTIVE Shifts: 8:00-10:00am EST 10:00am-12:00pm EST 12:00-2:00pm EST 2:00 - 4:00pm EST You are more than welcomed to work a whole day at multiple positions or the same one. Benefits include a 10% discount in our 1792 Stewart Home School Store, member pricing for future events, and a specialized name tag and merchandise!
