Rosemount Center is searching for talented individuals interested in volunteering in a bilingual early childhood education center located in NW Washington DC. This volunteer position is open for someone who is creative and enjoys working with children. Rosemount Center's mission is to prepare children and families for their future by providing comprehensive early childhood education and family support programs in a bilingual multicultural setting.
Description
Rosemount was established as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization in 1972 when its chief benefactor, House of Mercy, converted its historic building and program to a comprehensive childcare and education facility for young children of primarily low income families. The Center is accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) and is recognized as a Gold-Level center by the District of Columbia’s Office of the State Superintendent of Education (OSSE).
