Rosemount Center's mission is to prepare children and families for their future by providing comprehensive early childhood education and family support programs in a bilingual multicultural setting.
Rosemount was established as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization in 1972 when its chief benefactor, House of Mercy, converted its historic building and program to a comprehensive childcare and education facility for young children of primarily low income families. The Center is accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) and is recognized as a Gold-Level center by the District of Columbia’s Office of the State Superintendent of Education (OSSE).
