Communicate volunteer engagement policy and monitor compliance as measured by hours submitted by volunteers and approved by supervisors.
Monitor hours’ activity using Volunteer Connection, the Red Cross volunteer management system.
Communicate hours policy to all volunteers and staff.
Provide supervisors with monthly report of hours submitted, as well as volunteers who are not submitting hours for that month.
Alert volunteer specialist of any issues with engagement.
