Cinco de Mayo Celebration

El Centro de la Raza’s 14th Annual Cinco de Mayo Celebration will take place on Saturday, May 4 from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM at Plaza Roberto Maestas in Beacon Hill. This event is free and open to the public. We expect around 1,500 people to join us for a day of celebration and community building!

Cinco de Mayo commemorates the Mexican Army’s victory over the French Empire at the Battle of Puebla on May 5th, 1862 under the leadership of General Ignacio Zaragoza.

We need your help to make this day a success. Join us to lead traditional Mexican craft activities, games, and other important positions to help celebrate this important holiday and bring our community together!
