Key Responsibilities: Facilitate wellness programs (Zumba kids, Family Yoga, Folklorico, Tumbling, Pre/Post natal Yoga. Participate in appropriate trainings and certifications
Assist FRC staff to provide best practice and quality wellness programs in the FRC
Skills and Abilities: knowledge about local community resources; ability to plan/organize/prioritize and multi-task. Experience working with diverse workgroups serving families of diverse economic, social, racial and cultural backgrounds.
Experience working with community members from diverse ethnic, social and economic backgrounds. Culturally sensitive.
Must be Flexible, proactive and adaptable to working in a fast paced and changing environment. Experience conducting small/large group presentations
Dates/Times: 12 month commit requested, with minimum 20 hours (5 hours weekly) schedule as agreed.
Required to volunteer during non-traditional hours which include day, evening, weekend, and holiday hours, school holidays as appropriate to provide services/activities for families.
Requirements & Training: live scan/FP background clearance. TB skin test record clearance.
