At Grandma's House of Hope, we help the invisible population of orange county! We say yes when everyone else says no!
At our HopeWorks! Education and Enrichment Center our theme for this year's Summer Club (late June through early August) is "Around the World in 80 Days." Just as in the book by Jules Verne, Summer Club will stop at each of the countries in the book: England, France, Turkey, India, China, and the U.S. Each week of Summer Club will be themed for that country stop: field trips, food, crafts, stories, pictures, etc.
We are looking for volunteers interested in leading or assisting for those individual items and volunteers who are crafty!! A volunteer who is wanting to help in first setting up the actual theme of the Summer Club by decorating the Community Center. Here is what I'd like:
1. A volunteer or group of volunteers interested or skilled in paper mache or using larger paper lanterns like the picture below. Another option would be an inflatable beach ball using an inexpensive fishing net. I'd like 5-6 air balloons that can be hung from the ceiling.
