GEN 2 GEN ASSOCIATE COMMUNITY WORKER (ACW)

Key Responsibilities: General clerical/office support, assist keeping clean environment, prepare program materials, facilitate FRC intergenerational programs; co-facilitate/support other FRC programs (Zumba kids, M&M etc)
Provide outreach, engagement and education activities on weekdays, evenings and weekends as needed. Other duties as assigned.
Skills and Abilities: knowledge about local community resources; ability to plan/organize/prioritize and multi-task, experience with working with diverse ethnic, social and economic backgrounds. Culturally sensitive
Must be Flexible, proactive and adaptable to working in a fast paced and changing environment.
Dates/time: 12 month commit requested, with minimum 25 hours (6.25 hours weekly) schedule as agreed.
Volunteer required to volunteer during non-traditional hours - day, evening, weekend, school holidays to provide services/activities for families.
Recruitment and training - Live scan/FP background clearance. TB skin test record clearance.
AGE: Suitable for mature adult. Minimum age 21.
