If you are looking to help families after a fire, flood, or other disaster, become a Red Cross Caseworker! Training will be provided by the Red Cross.

Responsibilities:
Caseworkers support the disaster recovery of individuals, families, and communities affected by disasters by providing referrals, assistance, and goods to begin the recovery process

Caseworkers conduct client interviews (in-person & over the phone), use the online Client Assistance System (CAS 2.0) to document services and provide referrals to community partners

Qualifications:
Basic computer skills, ability to learn new software programs

Customer service skills

Ability to work in stressful situations & in a team-oriented setting

Time Commitment:
Flexible

Varies in times of disasters
